Fancy coming along?

It’s time for our third Bandstand Busking session of the year and this Saturday we’re bringing you two of the most exciting acts to emerge from an Australian music scene that is in seriously rude health right now – Hatchie and Teischa.

Declared by Pitchfork just last week as the “Dream-Pop Idol of Tomorrow”, Brisbane newcomer Hatchie caught our attention last year with the deliciously infectious ‘Sure’, the lead single from her debut ‘Sugar & Spice’ EP due out later this month via Heavenly Records in the UK and Double Double Whammy/Polyvinyl in the U.S.

Perth-born Teischa was responsible for another of the tracks of 2017 with the shimmering debut pop of ‘Midnight Hour’. Also in town for her first London headline shows, Teischa followed up last month with ‘Before’, once again packing a Florence + The Machine-esque punch.

Key timings:
Arrive for: 1pm
Gig kicks off: 1.15pm sharp

Our sessions are free and open to everyone all of ages. In 2017, we decided to work with the amazing international development charity Child.org, so we’re asking you to donate the price of the ticket (ie, just a tenner) to help Child.org continue their amazing work. Visit http://child.org/donate to make a contribution or donate on the day.
