BANDSTAND BUSKING

Home

what?

There are loads of bandstands in parks across London, and most of them are looking fairly tattered from lack of use. When did you last see/hear one surrounded by hordes excited by the sounds? ...well we hadn't so we decided to do what we could to change that, to fill the parks once more (at least for a wee while every couple of weeks) with some talented people capable of carrying a tune or two.

Fancy coming along? Subscribe and we'll let you know when and where our next Bandstand Busking will be happening...come down, bring a beer, and enjoy the music.

If you can't make it to the park don't worry, you can watch it all here. We'll be posting a few acoustic tracks from each Busking session as well as a few words from the artists themselves.

And that's not all, you can subscribe to us on iTunes, put the tracks on your MySpace or Facebook, email them to a friend and share it pretty much anyhow...well digitally anyway.

We're always happy to get some feedback, ideas, thoughts, band suggestions and the like...or just send us your musings on the fate of the turkmeni potato farmers union or whatever other rant comes to mind.

The Team

We are a sort of cooperative of music likers who bring a range of different skills and passions together to make this happen. It's quite a fluid set up with different people doing different things at different times. If you'd like to be a part of bandstand busking in any way from marketing through to session filming, please let us know through the contact form.
